The true story of how Henshaw set up a bookshop on a boat, and set out on a bookselling journey for six months. Books were bartered for food, accommodation, bathroom facilities and cake. The Book Barge suffered a flooded engine, went out to sea, got banned from Bristol and, on several occasions, floated away altogether.
