Holger Hohgardt studied at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) i nZurich, Switzerland. He graduated with an engineering degree (Dipl. Masch. Ing.), followed by a PhD (Dr. sc. techn.). At the same time, he studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated with a Master's degree (lic.oec. HSG). Holger Hohgardt worked as a project manager for Roland Berger in 1995 and Apax Partners in 1997. In 2001, Holger Hohgardt took over the position of Global Head of Private Equity at Bank Julius Baer, from where he was promoted to Global Head Product Development for Alternative Investment Products in 2002. In 2003, Holger joined Credit Suisse Group. He worked as Global Head Family Office and Investment Solutions of Credit Suisse Solutions Partner AG (CSSP) and was appointed Managing Director in 2006. In 2007, he was appointed CEO of Clariden Leu Trust, a Credit Suisse company, where he continued to advise family offices. From 2010 to 2014, Holger Hohgardt was Group Head Private Banking at Habib Bank AG, where he started a new global Private Banking organization with offices in Zurich, London, and Dubai, serving South Asian Clients around the world. Holger has been a senior lecturer at ZHAW since 2016. Johannes Höllerich has a dual Bachelor's degree with specialization in corporate and investment banking. After graduating, he worked for a German bank in retail and private banking. His MSc in Banking & Finance was completed at the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML). Since 2012, Johannes Höllerich has been a research associate in the Department of Banking, Finance, Insurance at the SML. His research focuses on personal finance and banking regulation. Larissa Marti worked for a major Swiss bank in credit risk management for several years. In 2014 she completed her MSc in Banking & Finance at the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML). Simone Thomas studied economics at the University of Hohenheim with a specialization in political economics. She worked for ten years as a head of marketing, consumer, and marketing services for a company involved in medical supplies. Later, she took over as joint manager of a small business in the field of complementary medicine in Germany. Since 2013, she has headed the Development & Services Team of the Department of Banking, Finance, Insurance at the ZHAW School of Management and Law, where she lectures in financial accounting. Suzanne Zieler studied economics at the University of St. Gallen and studied for her PhD in bank insolvency and investor protection at the University of Zurich. From 1989 to 2002, she worked at the Swiss National Bank in the field of system stability. Since 2002, she has worked at the ZHAW School of Management and Law as a senior lecturer and from 2005 to 2011 she was Head of the Center for Banking & Finance. Since May 2011, she has been Head of the Department of Banking, Finance, Insurance with sixty staff and is a member of the SML Executive Committee. Her research focuses on the banking systems in Switzerland, banking supervision, and banking regulation. |
