Peter Menkhorst has more than thirty-five years' experience in ecological research and the survey and management of Australian mammals and birds. He has worked in a range of environmental roles in the Victorian government since 1976 and is the author of Field Guide to the Mammals of Australia. Danny Rogers is principal ecologist with the Department of Environment, Water, and Natural Resources in Adelaide. Rohan Clarke is an ecologist at Monash University, with expertise in conservation biology and avian ecology. He is also a prominent member of the Australian birdwatching community, having been involved in the discovery of more than 15 species that were previously unrecorded the country. He is a longstanding member of the BirdLife Australia Rarities Committee, and sits on the editorial board for the journal Australian Field Ornithology. Rohan was a co-author of the epic Australian Bird Guide. Kim Franklin, a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists, has exhibited his work in countries throughout Europe and Africa. His illustrations have appeared in numerous books, including Birds of the Western Palearctic, Birds of the Indian Subcontinent, and the award-winning Parrots. Jeff Davies is an Australian artist, with a focus on portraits of Australian birds and their environments. Peter Marsack is an award-winning freelance artist based in Canberra. |
