John's Revelation has at times been happy hunting ground for end-time speculation and gloomy prediction. On the contrary, this study will reveal Revelation as seven scenes of hope rooted in the rich history of Israel. Revelation was good news to early Christians living under beastly powers, and it is good news for us as the Spirit unveils the same beastly powers at work in our world today.
