Alex Willan, originally from Luisville, Kentucky, has always had a sketchbook in hand. His love of illustration led him to earn a BFA in illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design. He has exhibited in several art galleries and has painted murals, theater sets, among other things. His great love has always been children's books. Jasper & Ollie was his second book and Unicorns are the worst! Is the third. He lives in Chicago with his dog Harley.
