In this third novel of the Transcendence Series, Electra Kirchner is given the name Erin Keenan after Indira the Singularity uses her Transcendence process to bring her back after twenty years in a suspension pod. And when she returns, she has a "practically perfect" clone of herself. Erin's memory is a blank slate, but some of her memory now resides in Ava Keenan, her twin sister.
As the action and suspense build to an explosive climax, Electra achieves some successes but also suffers setbacks. Existential threats accompanied by death come calling, but Electra pushes to her asymptotic limits that only Indira might overcome. Electra's final thoughts end the novel:
Will this be the end of my extraordinary Odyssey?...Not even Indira knows...The lightning brain will decide what will become of me.
