Julian of Norwich (c.1342-c.1416) is considered one of the greatest English mystics, and thought to be the first woman to have written a book in the English language. She was an anchoress at the church of St Julian, Norwich, where she received her sixteen visions. Jeremy Begbie is Thomas A.
