¿Quién puede pararse frente al trono de Dios? La Biblia nos dice que sin santidad nadie verá al Señor. Sin embargo, muchos creen que el llamado de Dios a la santidad es algo imposible. De seguro que es imposible alcanzarla con nuestras propias fuerzas, pero Dios, por medio de Cristo, nos abrió un camino mediante el cual podemos alcanzarla. A esa obra, que solo Dios puede hacer en el hombre y no el hombre por su propio esfuerzo, se le conoce como
'santificación'. El propósito de este libro es que a medida que vayamos creciendo en santidad, amemos y admiremos más la belleza de la santidad de Dios, y anhelemos ser más semejantes a Él.
Who can stand in front of God's throne? The Bible tells us that without holiness no one will see the Lord. However, many believe that God's call to holiness is something impossible. It is certainly impossible to attain it in our own strength, but God, through Christ, has opened a way for us to attain it. This work, which only God can do in man and not man by his own efforts, is known as
"sanctification". The purpose of this book is that as we grow in holiness, we may love and admire more the beauty of God's holiness, and long to be more like Him.
